Women+ Owned Businesses:
A missing link in the Nuclear Growth story?

About the Study

We listened to women+ owned businesses across the nuclear and beyond, in adjacent sectors. Through a national survey, in-person and virtual listening events, we heard directly from women+ owned businesses. We wanted to understand their interest, motivations, and the barriers they face to entering the nuclear supply chain, and explore what “nuclear readiness” could look like for them. We also conducted research and interviewed industry leaders, policy officials, and leaders of associations advocating for women about what's working and what more needs to be done.

"This initiative builds on WiN Canada’s legacy of advancing women’s careers in nuclear, and expands the scope. We’re amplifying women’s impact across the sector: as leaders, technical experts, and now entrepreneurs.
